Oh dear. Why CIS? Why schedule your women's nationals in B.C.? Do they not now it never stops raining in B.C.? The women's semis have just been moved again, so they're off for later. Stay tuned for a few more updates, we might yet get lucky.

Hi. We're back. And already, both benches are going at the ref and Seba has a chance for Montreal, although he manages to shoot in the wrong direction.

York may be leading, but don't desrve to be. They've not really played very much in the last 25 minutes, Montreal have come close a few times. And the York goal was somewhat controversial, anyway.
And now it's half-time, York lead 1-0.
I'm off for a snack, I'll be back in 10.

As I was typing your last one, Karim--who is York's only keeper, gets hammered by TWO Montreal players. Should probably have been a yellow, Karim wasn't exactly off his line when he was bodychecked.

Seba heads a great ball to Suter who beats Francesca, but no one is there to knock home Suter's cross. Suter's been a real positive light here...if only someone could get on his crosses.

Suter sprays Aoun down the left, and his cross misses Brouk, all for Montreal. The ball bounces out into the right corner, where a free kick is wasted. Hold on, the ref's making them do it again. And there goes my video...I'll have this for you in a moment.

York are superb coming forward, with Seretti, Antonini, and Bruno. They work well together--quick passing, piercing runs, all that good stuff that makes soccer worth watching.
26min
Aaboubou mishandles at the back and Antonini steals in on goal. He's tackled heavily, but apparently legally. Aaboubou would do very well to avoid doing any more of that.
