CIS Championships to be Webcast on SSN

By Dylan Matthias

I've received a number of queries over the weekend about webcasting.

Acadia did not webcast the AUS championships. There is no publically available video for that tournament beyond my badly filmed and hastily edited highlight packs.

The good news--and news that will spare you from further highlight packs--is that according to Canada West, the CIS championships will be streamed on SSN.

SSN doesn't have the games on its schedule yet, but Canada West are a pretty authoritative source, so it's somewhat safe to assume I'll have two hands next weekend to live-blog.

And while we're at it, may as well plug the CIS live-blogs and preview shows: Dal Soccer Live will live-blog the CIS nationals, hopefully with a moderately better connection than we had at Acadia this weekend. I believe Bill McLean will be previewing the tournament on CKDU some time between 10:30 and noon on Tuesday.  The live-blogs will be cross-posted along with daily wrap-ups to the CIS Blog and Haligonia.ca, as well as dalgazette.com.
