Previewing Saturday: Dal Tigers v. UPEI Panthers (Men)
By Dylan Matthias
The UPEI Panthers will have to hope Jimmie Mayaleh can sink the Tigers again this Saturday. The two teams meet at Wickwire field at 3:15 p.m.
Mayaleh and winger Jarrod Murphy shocked Dal in the AUS semi-finals in 2009 and the Tigers have never been the same since. Those two players are still around for the Panthers, but it's the supporting cast who let UPEI down.
The Panthers finished eighth last year. Mayaleh had a quiet year. That's all it took, really. This year could be worse unless someone comes out of the woodwork for the Panthers.

Previewing Saturday: Dal Tigers v. UPEI Panthers (Women)
By Dylan Matthias
This one could be tough.
The Dalhousie Tigers' first match-up of the AUS soccer season is against probably the most difficult team in the league this year. In that sense, it's a critical battle for three points. It's also a battle Dal will likely lose.

Slow start to women's preseason
By Dylan Matthias
The Dalhousie women got off to a slow start to preseason on Sept. 1st, losing 1 - 0 to Saint Mary's and drawing Acadia 0 - 0 in two short exhibition matches at Wickwire field.
Acadia also drew with Saint Mary's in another game.
Despite the poor results, and what Tigers' coach Jack Hutchison described as nervous soccer, the Dalhousie recruits showed some promise.
