Dalhousie pull into Antigonish to take on one of the best teams in the country right now: St. FX. They beat SMU 3-2 last weekend. Dal beat SMU 2-0 this weekend. This game should be open and it should be a fine contest. Follow along from about 8pm after the jump.
If you're following us on haligonia.ca, the CoverItLive event will look like a bunch of code right now. If you head over to the blog at http://dalsoccerlive.blogspot.com/ everything should work fine. There's a translation issue, obviously, when the posts get cross-posted to Haligonia.

Live: St. FX X-Women (W) v. Dalhousie Tigers (W)
Follow the Tigers on the road as they take on the X-Women on Dal Soccer Live. Blog is after the jump.
And if you're reading on haligonia.ca, the CoverItLive window probably looks like a lot of code. You ca see the event on the blog itself--the window doesn't like to make the shift to haligonia.ca. http://dalsoccerlive.blogspot.com/ is your address.

Live: University of New Brunswick Varisty Reds (M) v. Memorial Sea-hawks (M)
Join Dylan at roughly 3pm for a nice prelude to the Dal game later. The blog is after the jump.
If you're reading on haligonia.ca, you won't be able to see the CoverItLive event because of the way we transfer the posts from the actual blog. If you head to http://dalsoccerlive.blogspot.com/ you should be able to see it just fine.

Dylan's wrangled himself out of having to cover Dal football this afternoon, so he'll be right here, live-blogging out-of-town AUS soccer from 12:45pm (a deadline which is rapidly approaching which means he'd better stop writing this intro and get on over to CoverItLive and set up this event so he can have time for some quick breakfast during the starting line-ups).
The blog is after the jump. Also, it appears readers on haligonia.ca aren't able to see the embedded CoverItLive box. If you head over to the blog itself at http://dalsoccerlive.blogspot.com/ the window should be there.

As It Happened: Dalhousie Tigers (M) vs. Saint Mary's Huskies (M)
By: Dylan Matthias
Welcome to Apocalyptic Night, a special event hosted once a year (or, sometimes, it seems, more often these past few games) at Wickwire Field. Dark clouds. Fell light. Epic archrivals with just a light spattering of impending doom for a Tigers team that were embarrassed 6-1 by SMU last Wednesday. Break out the elven armies and troll hordes--there is Fate at stake tonight, or at least a certain amount of cross-town bragging rights, anyway.

As It Happened: UKC Blue Devils (M) v. UNB Saint John Seawolves (M)
By: Dylan Matthias
Big game. King's really need a win after losing to Holland College in the opener and St. Thomas yesterday, 1-0. They've beaten NSAC, but most of the better teams will beat NSAC this year.
1min: King's kick off.
3min: There may be some statement-making this afternoon. Watch out.

Hello to all wet Haligonians and all other wet people everywhere. Today, I am one of you. This misty-like rain is covering Wickwire Field. It doesn't make you actively wet, but after thirty minutes, you feel like you're coming out of the shower and you don't dry.

Setting the Record Straight: A Few Updates After a Long Week
By: Dylan Matthias
A few things happened over the weekend: Colleen MacDonald and Gillian Clarke of the Dal women's team transferred to King's. Zach Bauld, initially recruited by Dal, is now at SMU. It's wilder than late August in the EPL.
This weekend sees the Tigers host a Cape Breton program whose teams suffered three major upset losses on the weekend to UPEI and MUN. SSN will have the game with Dal Soccer Live blogger Dylan Matthias providing colour commentary with Bill McLean. You can see the games at Wickwire field on Saturday at 5pm and 7:15pm.
